Our mission

Visa infrastructure for people the system overlooked.

XOYA Technologies is AI-powered visa infrastructure for emerging-market travelers and the institutions that serve them. We were built to close the equity gap in global mobility — one validated document at a time.

Manifesto

The global visa system was not designed for us. It was designed for travelers who have always been assumed to be welcome — whose documents fit the templates, whose banks print the right statements, whose addresses parse in the right postal codes.

We are building for everyone else.

For the Nigerian engineer who has to prove she will come home. For the Ghanaian student whose payslip does not look like an American stub. For the Jamaican grandmother whose invitation letter does not match what the form expects.

XOYA does not simplify the system. We decode it — and put that decoding in the hands of the people who need it most.

Our journey

From concierge to infrastructure.

2023–2024

The concierge era

Anita Itaman processes over 1,000 travel and visa transactions on inbound demand through her personal network. The volume proves the market. The process reveals the gaps — specifically, that rejection rates for emerging-market applicants are systematically inflated by fixable documentation errors.

April 2025

VOYA launches

First version of the app ships. First paying users arrive. The product is lean: corridor selection, document upload, gap analysis, fix list.

June 2025

Stanford Galvanizers competition

XOYA (then VOYA) wins the Stanford Galvanizers competition. Visibility opens doors.

Mid 2025

Pre-seed close

Closes pre-seed from Resilience17 and Dotun Sulaiman. Capital deployed into AI model training and corridor expansion.

Late 2025

Enterprise MOUs signed

First ministry partnerships: Nigerian Ministry of Tourism (Motherland initiative), Ghana Ministry of Tourism. First enterprise integrations: ProvidusBank, Wakanow, Travelwings. First 100 transactions completed.

May 2026

300 verified transactions

50+ enterprise and ministry partners. 94% approval rate across primary corridors. Team across Lagos and San Francisco.

June 2026

XOYA launches

Rebrands from VOYA to XOYA. New domain (xoyavisa.io). AI-native visa infrastructure platform. Three audiences: travelers, businesses, governments.
